Benefits

Retride Benefits: Each Label Claim Checked Against Research

Quick answer

The Retride label claims Advanced Weight Loss Support, Supports Healthy Metabolism, Promotes Fat Burning and Helps Reduce Appetite & Cravings. These are the brand's words, not evaluated by the FDA. Studies used 10 to 24 g of BHB salts a day, not 60 mg, and found no clear extra weight loss. Appetite effects were shown for esters.

Label claims

What are the benefits of Retride, in the brand's own words?

Four label claims, each with the FDA asterisk.

Retride bottle: Advanced Weight Loss Support, dietary supplement, 60 capsules
The bottle front reads Advanced Weight Loss Support, dietary supplement, 60 capsules. The other three claims are printed on the label wrap.

The Retride label prints four claims. Each one carries an asterisk that points to the FDA disclaimer.

  • Advanced Weight Loss Support*
  • Supports Healthy Metabolism*
  • Promotes Fat Burning*
  • Helps Reduce Appetite & Cravings*

These are the claims printed on the Retride label. They are the brand's words, marked with the FDA asterisk. Retride is a dietary supplement, not a drug and not a weight-loss medicine, and no study has tested this formula.

Claim 1

Does Retride help with weight loss? "Advanced Weight Loss Support*"

Brand's words vs two weight trials.

The brand says Retride offers advanced weight loss support. Research on BHB salts does not show extra weight loss beyond diet, even at gram doses.

In Buga et al., 2021, adults on a low-calorie keto diet took about 24 g of BHB salts a day. They lost 7.3 kg, while the placebo group lost 8.0 kg. In Roeth et al., 2025, 10 g a day with a calorie deficit gave 3.05 kg versus 1.51 kg, a gap that was not statistically significant.

The NIH says little is known about whether weight-loss supplements work, and that lifestyle change is the basis for lasting loss (NIH ODS Weight-loss supplements fact sheet). The keto diet itself showed about 0.91 kg more loss than low-fat diets over a year or more (Bueno et al., 2013).

Claim 2

Does Retride support healthy metabolism? What research says

A normal role for BHB, not a measured effect at 60 mg.

Supports Healthy Metabolism is the brand's phrase. Metabolism is a broad word for how your body turns food into energy. BHB is one fuel in that system, so the claim is about supporting a normal process.

The clearest measured effect of extra ketones is on blood sugar. A review found that single doses lowered blood glucose by about 0.54 mmol/L, with esters doing more than salts (Falkenhain et al., 2022). Evidence for steady daily use was limited, and those doses were grams, not milligrams.

So the claim describes a role BHB plays in the body. It is not shown that 60 mg a day changes your metabolism. See how Retride works for the full chain.

*These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Claim 3

Does Retride promote fat burning?

Diet-driven fat burning is real; capsule-driven is unproven.

Promotes Fat Burning is the brand's claim. On a low-carb diet, your liver turns fat into ketones. That is real fat burning, and it is driven by the diet.

Taking BHB from a capsule adds ketones from outside. It does not prove your body burns more of its own fat. In Roeth et al., 2025, 10 g a day of BHB salts did not change fat mass or lean mass significantly versus placebo.

The label's diet target is 70% fat, 25% protein and 5% carbohydrate. If fat burning is your goal, that diet and a calorie deficit are where the evidence points. Our keto diet guide shows how to start.

Claim 4

Does Retride reduce appetite and cravings?

The appetite evidence is for esters, not salts.

Helps Reduce Appetite & Cravings is the brand's claim. The best-known appetite study used a ketone ester, not BHB salts.

In that study, one ester drink raised blood BHB from 0.2 to 3.3 mM. Hunger, desire to eat and the hunger hormone ghrelin fell for a few hours versus a sugar drink (Stubbs et al., 2018 (ketone ESTER)). It tested 15 normal-weight adults and did not measure weight.

The two BHB salt weight trials above did not report appetite results. Salts also raise blood BHB less than esters (Stubbs et al., 2017). Our salts vs esters article explains why the form matters.

*These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Evidence

How strong is the evidence for each Retride claim?

Weak to limited at gram doses, untested at 60 mg.

Editorial rating of evidence for BHB salts, at any dose (not specific to Retride)

Weight loss supportWeak2 trials at 10–24 g/day, no clear effect
Healthy metabolismLimitedShort-term glucose dip at gram doses
Fat burningWeakNo fat-mass difference at 10 g/day
Appetite and cravingsIndirectEster study only, a few hours

These bars rate the research on BHB salts in general. None of it used a dose near 60 mg. For Retride itself, the honest summary is that no study exists. That is common for supplements, which do not need FDA review before they are sold (FDA, Q&A on Dietary Supplements, 2026).

FAQ

Retride benefits questions

What are the benefits of Retride?

The Retride label lists four claims: Advanced Weight Loss Support, Supports Healthy Metabolism, Promotes Fat Burning and Helps Reduce Appetite & Cravings. These are the brand's words with the FDA asterisk. No study has tested the Retride formula.

What are the benefits of keto pills?

Keto pills are sold for ketosis, fat burning and appetite. In studies, gram doses of BHB salts raised blood ketones for a short time. They did not add clear weight loss beyond diet.

What are the benefits of BHB salts?

BHB salts can raise blood ketones and briefly lower blood sugar when taken in doses of many grams. Salts were weaker than ketone esters in head-to-head work. Evidence for long-term use is limited.

Does Retride help you lose weight?

No amount of weight loss is promised. Trials with 10 to 24 g of BHB salts a day found no clear extra loss over placebo. Retride holds 60 mg per serving.

Does Retride burn fat?

The label says Promotes Fat Burning, which is the brand's claim, not a proven effect. A 10 g a day BHB salt trial found no significant difference in fat mass versus placebo. Fat loss mainly follows a calorie deficit.

Does Retride reduce appetite?

The label says Helps Reduce Appetite & Cravings. The appetite research we found used a ketone ester, not salts. That ester lowered hunger for a few hours.

Do BHB salts help with energy?

Retride makes no energy claim on its label. BHB is a fuel the body can use, but no study tested energy at a 60 mg dose. Some people on keto feel tired in the first weeks.

Do keto pills work without exercise?

No pill has good evidence for weight loss without diet or exercise. The FTC lists lose weight without dieting or exercising as a false promise. Diet and activity remain the base.

Is Retride worth it?

It depends on your expectations. If you want a simple capsule beside a keto diet, it fits that routine. If you expect the capsule alone to cause ketosis or weight loss, research does not back that.
